Educators are honored for teaching and advising excellence
Faculty, advisors, teaching assistants, and teaching interns in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences have been recognized for excellence in educating and advising students at Illinois.
Each year, the college selects outstanding educators for awards in several categories. The nomination process begins early in the year, and a committee recommends recipients to the dean of the college. Recipients receive commemorative plaques and a monetary award ranging from $1,000 to $3,500.
The recipients were honored Thursday, April 20, during a ceremony.
