Victoria Wilson is a junior studying atmospheric sciences. She grew up in Clinton, IL, where she was actively involved with many organizations and athletic teams. Her interest in atmospheric sciences began when she was a little girl, after laying her eyes on a tornado for the first time. Since that day, she has worked to learn more about weather processes and the risks that come along with them. Her long-term career goal is to better establish warning systems so people can be better prepared for hazardous weather before it strikes. While on campus, she has served as president of LAS Leaders and as a member of the student chapter of the American Meteorological Society and Illinois Club Softball. Through LAS Leaders, she has been able to connect with her peers and interact with incredible alumni. She looks forward to working closely with the board over the coming year.
