Inclusive Excellence in LAS

Body

The LAS Office for Inclusive Excellence is deeply committed to providing a healthy, safe, and secure environment for analytical and critical thinking, teaching, research, and innovation. We believe that fostering a community of global citizens who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to society starts with embracing and celebrating the richness that comes from different perspectives and backgrounds.

Our commitment to inclusive excellence is reflected in our efforts to create an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential. Through initiatives and programming that support equity, access, and representation, we are dedicated to ensuring that all members of our community can thrive.

We recognize that listening is crucial for meaningful change. Therefore, we actively seek and welcome suggestions and feedback on our steps within the College of LAS to advance inclusive excellence. By engaging in open dialogue and continuously assessing our efforts, we aim to create a more inclusive and dynamic academic environment that prepares our faculty and students to become leaders and innovators in a diverse and interconnected world.
