‎ LAS Day of Giving

Alumni and friends of the College of LAS know that education is more than lectures and textbooks.

At the College of LAS, curiosity drives everything we do. From exploring new ideas to solving the world’s biggest issues, we empower thinkers and doers to transform curiosity into measurable impact. We empower our students to question, explore, and act with purpose. Our faculty are at the forefronts of interdisciplinary collaboration, global engagement, and hands-on research.

Thank you for participating in the 2025 LAS Day of Giving. Your donation is one of the many ways our community shows how #LASGives!

For more than a decade, the LAS Lincoln Scholars Initiative has provided access to a liberal arts and sciences education by providing significant, renewable scholarships to academically gifted University of Illinois students in need of financial support.

The University of Illinois’s ethnic, gender, and women’s studies units foster an environment where all students can make meaningful connections and achieve personal breakthroughs.

The College of LAS Emergency Fund provides support for current students who experience unexpected financial needs due to emergency situations, such as loss of housing or income, food insecurity, technology requirements, medical expenses, and more. By contributing to this fund, you can help support these students so that they can continue to explore and create meaningful change, both in the classroom and out, even during times of personal hardship.
