Design your life and career

Use the College of LAS’ resources to help you design your life and career. You can:

  • Enroll in LAS’ core Life + Career Design classes to start applying design thinking to your life
  • Attend career fairs and LAS Success workshops, and get internships, to gain experience and make connections
  • Study abroad, either on a short trip or up to a year, to understand the world around you, your place in it, and the opportunities open to you  
  • Use leadership, service learning, and undergraduate research opportunities on campus to help you become a well-rounded citizen and to develop skills employers seek
  • Visit the Life + Career Design Lab to get peer and professional advice on how to plan your time on campus and beyond

Academic Workshops

LAS departments offer workshops to help students succeed in their coursework. Some workshops are designed for students to prepare for college-level exams. Others help students navigate a specific sequence of courses or explore topics such as mindfulness.
