Apply to brain & cognitive science
Brain & cognitive science introduces students to a simple question: How do intelligent systems work?
Our world provides two examples of complex intelligent systems—human beings and intelligent computer systems. As a brain & cognitive science major, you'll investigate the brain and behavior of intelligent biological systems, like people, from the perspective that the brain is a kind of computer.
Brain & cognitive science provides fundamental training in psychology, neuroscience, and computation. It is a flexible, interdisciplinary program for students who plan to pursue technical or professional careers in areas such as intelligent information processing, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, or robotics.
Brain & cognitive science major Emma Darbro is passionate about reproductive justice and aspires to pursue a career in inclusive reproductive healthcare.
