One summer as a student, I interned with Seaside Sustainability, Inc., an environmental nonprofit that focuses on ocean pollution, environmental education, and single-use plastics.

When you major in earth, society, & environmental sustainability, you'll develop sustainability skills in policy, people and society, communication, natural science, business, or technology—in earth, society, and environmental sustainability, you get to choose your specialty.
The major is also flexible enough to accommodate study abroad and offers a diverse amount of field experiences, from a weekend in southern Illinois, to a spring break expedition to Costa Rica and a summer course in the Arctic.
