Join us in history, classics, or art history

The past causes the present, and so the future. Any time we try to know why something happened, we can look at factors that took shape earlier.

As a student in history, the classics, or art history at UIUC, you can explore the ways that people in distant ages lived, loved, and made sense of the world, all to gain a greater perspective on life today. Analyze and interpret written, spoken, and visual cultures from around the globe. Take classes with internationally recognized experts and examine history from varied angles and perspectives.
