Attend the football game

With Lovie Smith as the Fighting Illini coach, this may prove to be the university's best Homecoming game yet. If you need another excuse to deck out in bright orange or simply stuff your face with fries while you hear the bleachers cheer like no other, this is your best bet.

Watch the parade

As you are thinking about your Friday night plans, you may want to shake up your routine. If you live far away from NYC or New Orleans, fear not, for Champaign-Urbana has a parade of its own! Whether you participate as a cheerleader or in the drum line, or you support your friends as they represent Illinois, the sense of camaraderie on this campus is incredible.

Vote for your friends to be on the homecoming court
