Majors
African American studies
Take engaging courses with faculty dedicated to the history and contemporary situation of Black Americans and the global community. Study literature, sociology, gender and sexuality, health, music, dance, and more in a diverse group of fellow students.
Asian American studies
Examine historical and current issues affecting Asian Americans, from pop culture and film to the effects of immigration law and activism. You’ll develop your own ideas and research while pursuing a variety of paths and interests.
Gender and women's studies
Develop the knowledge and language to dismantle assumptions about the world around us, and acquire a deeper understanding of social justice. Investigate how gender intersects with power, sexuality, race, indigeneity, class, nationality, religion, and ability.
Latina/Latino studies
Analyze various facets of Latina/Latino social, political, and cultural life. Explore the creative, intellectual, political, and cultural ways of Latinx beings across social spaces and disciplines, such as anthropology, sociology, history, media studies, and more.
