- Agnes Keren-Happouk Akenou is an Ivorian student from Canada, currently studying political science and finance at the University of Illinois.
- Josie Thannert is a senior majoring in global studies and gender & women's studies, with a minor in German business and commercial studies.

- I first joined Students for Environmental Concerns (SECS) in the first semester of my freshman year, simply because the members seemed nice when I encountered their clothing swap by chance.
- The start of the semester is a good chance to have new beginnings and take advantage of so many awaiting opportunities! Starting your year off right can go a long way.
- LAS First-Year Experience (FYE) equips first-year and transfer students with the knowledge and resources for academic success and personal well-being, building community through LAS Liftoff, first-year courses, and opportunities to connect with peers.
