Students graduating with degrees in the following units are invited to participate:

  • African Studies
  • European Union Studies
  • Global Studies
  • Individual Plans of Study
  • Latin American and Caribbean Studies
  • Political Science
  • Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies
  • South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies

This ceremony is intended for students who are on the May 2023 pending degree list, or plan to graduate in August 2023. Students who graduated in August 2022 or December 2022 and did NOT participate in the LAS Winter Convocation are also invited.

Register to participate in the ceremony hereGraduates are guaranteed up to FOUR guest tickets. Every guest will need a ticket (except infants and toddlers who will be seated on an adult). Graduates do not need a ticket.

Please note that due to limited seating capacity, it may not be possible to accommodate additional requests for tickets. We ask that students only request the number of tickets they know they will need for their guests. Additional ticket will be made available on a first come first serve basis after registration is closed on April 21.

Degree candidates will be contacted at a later date with information on ticket pick up or mailing options.

Academic regalia (cap & own) is required to participate in this ceremony. Click here for more information on renting regalia. The order deadline is April 11.
