Is it possible to cure cancer? How? What lessons can we learn from the ancient world to make a better present day? I have this love for language, but how do I make a career of it? Why do individuals behave differently from one another? How can I contribute to important issues like conservation and human rights?

Choosing a college to attend can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. At the core of this decision is a question—a question that lives deep inside of you. Maybe it keeps you up at night or puzzles you while you’re in class. Maybe you’re reminded of it during your favorite club or when you’re out with your friends.

As a student in the College of LAS at Illinois, you’ll get to explore those individual questions. And you’ll discover their answers through your own research, creativity, and growth. Your journey of investigating what you find most important will set you up for success, so that you go on and change your world.

What are you waiting for? You have questions—seek your answers in LAS.
