Alice Lee, Tom Ballard, and Alex Wellman are serving as interns for the HRI-Mellon Legal Humanities Research Group, where faculty, graduate students, and undergrads explore research at the intersection of humanities and the law.

With nearly 1,500 unique LAS classes taught each semester, students have a wide range of options when choosing courses. Inspired by the large amount of courses through the college and the the thousands of March Madness brackets that are made each year, LAS developed one of its own brackets—with an LAS twist.

Anthony Erlinger and Kathleen Flores participated in SPAN 232: Spanish in the Community, where they used their language skills to help communities in Champaign-Urbana.

I am currently working with Tricia Thrasher (a PhD candidate in French) to study how virtual reality technology can be integrated in second language learning classrooms to reduce foreign language anxiety.
